Ryan brought this plant to school and shared with the class why his plant is a living thing.
Raynn brought two millipedes to school and shared with us how millipedes respond to changes by curling up.
Kayden shared with us that the spider eats insects and responds to changes as it looks scared when the container is shaken.
Some boys scooped out tadpoles for the class to see. We learnt that tadpoles grow into frogs and are living things. Reign even shared with the class that they are amphibians.
We then went to the ecological garden to find other examples of living things and non-living things. We also noted down some things which we are not sure are living or non-living things. In class, we discussed and came to a conclusion on whether the things that we are not sure of are living or non-living things.
Science is fun!
