Additional Practice for Oral Reading and Stimulus-based conversation

English Oral Buddy on lead.com.sg is a great tool! There is a learning button where you can learn how to read with accuracy, pace and expression. The stimulus-based conversation portion allows you to practise more on the new format and gives you an insight on how the new oral format will be like.

Tips for Oral reading and Picture description

This video teaches you how to describe a picture. Apart from describing what is in the picture, it is also very important that you relate the picture to your personal experiences and share what would you do if you were in the picture or if you were the character. It is also useful to make inferences and to draw conclusions on how the characters in the picture feel.

This video shows a strategy that you can use at home to help your child prepare for oral reading.
